Description:

    Leonid Fedorov (1956-2006) was born in St.Peterburg. In 1976 graduated from the St.Petersburg Graphic Art School. For the first time he was exhibited in SPb in 1976. He was a member of the Association of Experimental Pictorial Art. He tries to influate the viewer by rendering reality in a symbolic and associative manner. His works reveal interplay of form color and volume. The works of the artist are represented in the Museums of S.-Petersburg: Peter&Paul Fortress, Museum of the History of SPb, Museum of Anna Akhmatova, Museum of the town of Pushkin, Museum of Non-conformism art, in Rutgers University museum (NY), in Norway and private collections.
